Excellent day out. Things to do for all types of vehicle and ability. Don't need big chuncky mud's as it is a disused quarry mostly made up if gravel and rocks.

Check out : http://www.4x4funday.co.uk/offrd.html for info on the site

Check out : http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=52.61143,-2.54772|17|8&loc=GB:52.6654:-2.9053:13|farley|Farley,%20Shropshire
for multimap directions

Check out : http://fronteraowners.co.uk/v-web/bulle ... hp?t=10934 to see what a fab day out was had by all.

It's ok to bring the Kids and the Missed along, there will be a few other kids and defo a few misses this time.

It was also my first time taking my truck off road, and as you can see, I jumped at the chance to put my name down when I found out there was another day planed.

Dead simple come off at J6,roundabout first exit, next roundabout third exit, next roundabout second exit next roundabout turn right (think it`s the third next and final roundabout deffo third exit then down the dip up the hill partway down the next hill on the right hand side.

The locals call it Buildwas pay & play/quarry

Matt (Fuzion 127) can tell you

Don't think I can make this meet - I'm off with GLASS to mooch out a new route in Mid Wales.

At least the Strata Florida river has cleaner water than found at Farley Quarry.

Next time maybe.
