If we just turned up as pals on the day it would be easier - if a major organised event, doesn't that cause probs with the forestry?

only if you make it an event its just a meet in parking/ picnic spot there would be no issue there is not gates and security guards and we wont be offroading so there would be no issues we dont need to ask for permission as its a gravel road well signed posted with areas for parking and picnics

wouldnt call it a road trip we all live in diffrent areas and it the most central point you can do the drive in a mini no need for 4wd , in scottih vauxhall club we have meets where generally every one meets in carpark somewhere either at a park monument service station tourist location etc

Hi guys, just seen this thread.
It used to be another guy called Stu that was the Scottish rep, but I'm not even sure he is still on here.
I am keen to keep arranging the summer meet, as its easier for me, as I know the organiser of the event.
It would be nice if someone who is more into off roading could arrange the "off road" meetings though.
It would also be nice to have "get together meets" where no off roading is done, so we can get to know each other better and to introduce new members.
Remeber though, we need to take into acount the distances for everyone. So they need to be held in different areas of Caledonia.
Regards, Keith.
