i had a good time until i smashed my front diff ,trying to go up a rock face nearly made it as well untill it started bouncing . but my front diff did not want to play any more and let go with a loud bang .lol
o well you have to try dont you . :D :D tazz lost 4wd when he smashed a front hub in his zook but it never stopped him playing .
arrived down at tazzs house at 9am and he was waiting only thing was he only had 3 wheels on his car trailer .So off we went looking for a tyre place that was open but none were so he just drove it to fife on 3 wheels {good start } when we arrived slapshot and another zoot were waiting so off we went up the hill .
time to play .when i say up the hill its because this site has no flat bits on it as its located at the top of a very steep hill. me and tazz went up first and neil and the others came up after us .this site is purpose built and gets changed all the time so every time you go its different. me and tazz headed for the water hole down the other side of the hill just to see how drivable it was.
it looked ok but it is dug out of the side of the hill and when you drive in you go down that much when you stand at the side you are 2 feet above the trucks .
well in i went first 20 feet were ok only came up to the top of my wheels the next 10 feet it was up to the top of my bonnet yes i thought we only have 20 feet to go this is when it went dark because the water went up the front screen and over the roof, then in my vents, glove box, all of my dash had water coming out of it so i gunned it and got only halfway out of the other end as its a very steep short ramp so i had to go back .i reversed back on full throttle and shot out the other end were i had to stop and let all the water out as my front footwells were full of stinking dirty water and mud
the rest of the day we went round the site playing .untill we had problems with our trucks but it was good fun .
going back over soon just as soon as i get my diff sorted and tazz gets his repaired .Neil sorry mate for disapering i could no get back up the hill to tell you we were going and we never got you on the cb. sorry mate . :butt:

it was a cracking day, had to leave bonnet open whilst having lunch to cool down and feet were roasting from having no carpets and the exhaust close under the floor.

this is at newtonhill fife, its just over the tay bridge from dundee at wormit
