what a site, brilliant, very muddy, lots of winch and ground anchor action. in all there was about 40 trucks there of all different shapes and sizes, the site was so big i only played on about half of it. will defo be back there.

this stream ran the length of the site, getting wider and deeper in sections, but completely drivable

these guys were all stuck and winching each other through the valley of death, a swampy mud run, we were waiting for them to clear so we could have a go

Image

and more behind us waiting also

Image

Image

Image

the guy in front of me made it all the way through the valley of death, i got 6/8th of the way through and got grounded in the tracks left by his 35" tyres.

Image

the guy behind me had to stop cause i was stuck

Image

Image

see the length of the mud run, stretches right back to the vehicles in the background

every bit you can see in these photos is driveable, and loads more i didnt have time to see.

I'd love to try that, but i'm not sure if my standard fronty would get through. Would it?

a standard fronty on road wheels would not stand a chance at drumclog.

the clog is also not advisable for first experience of offroading, there are plenty of sites around for standard frontys, like newtonhill in fife. if you fancy going we should try and get a meet organised for newtonhill sometime.

Sounds good Neil, i'll have to get off road pretty soon as I haven't tried it yet, and would love to go laning.
I need a few weeks notice though as I do a lot with the air cadets.

i can confirm it is wet and muddy, great fun, and huge and the stream is brilliant, i came home with a clean jeep up to the windows and covered in muck the rest of the way up after driving down the stream and yes it does get pretty deep in bits. i did see neil on the other side of the valley but buy the time i managed to find my way across he had dissappeared. its definately not the sort of place you would want to tackle on your own. im afraid most of my pics didnt turn out, think its time for a new camera :) .
