December fording run

From Milford Haven to Wrexham and Mid Wales to Cardiff

Im hoping it will hold off a bit next week so we all get through with out having to turn around (which wont be easy at some of the fords).

As i said, will go look at the weekend, but cant guarentee conditions on the day :(

Im on standard suspention and tyres (235 75 R15), Carl? Luke? are you on bigger tyres?

Am i going to be left behind? :lol: :lol:

Im sure the superior 2.8 will beat the wading depth of the 2.2

im on a 2" lift with procomp 3000 shocks and 31" tyres but with my tred its more like 32" :lol:

think my springs are a bit saggy tho as it dont look much taller that your old sport in astion carl

im all sorted for the satarday of the 9th as i just changed my shifts in work.

my old sport was quite tall......it was all stock
i could park up next to any other fronty and mine would look taller :lol: :lol:

we'll see how far i can push my 2.8 :D :D

Another Udate

I went and drove the route today, mainly to check water levells as its been peeing down all week.

All fords were passable :D

Iv mentioned before, it only takes a few hours to drive this route, but i think it is well worth it.

The pictures dont do it justice, you get to see some stunning countryside, and three castles, if its clear.

Just a thought, when you guys get to Pontabreham services, the car park is on 2 levels (terraced). Ill be parked up on the top level :wink:
