Clutch pedal pivot bushes

Postby Chapstick44 on Mon Jun 06, 2016 6:21 pm

Hi,
My clutch pedal has recently got very squeaky when depressed when changing gear.
The pedal has slight sideways (side to side) movement as well.
I was going to renew the pivot bushes and return spring.
Unfortunately my local Vauxhall dealer says the parts are obsolete.
Can anyone point me in a direction of any after market supplier's of these parts?

Any comments /suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

I fashioned a bush from the remains of the inner race from a 2.5tds idler pulley . centre hole is close but the race remains are a bit too thick so have to be trimmed to fit.

Thanks for the couple of replies above :D

Fudge - Thanks for the offer of making some nylon ones. I'll need to take my old ones off to get measurements etc. As and when I get the time to do this I'll let you know. In the meantime I'll have to put up with the squeak.
