crankshaft seal need some help

Hi all got a serious leak from my 2.2 dti b series is it a easy job or do I have to remove timing belts and such or is it a nice easy slip crank pully off replace and done any help would be greatly appreciated

front or rear seal?
as the rear can be a bit of a pig to do.

From the way your talking its the front crankshaft seal. Its fairly straight forward if you remove the radiator and the intercooler first. Just done mine. The crankshaft pulley nut can be a pig but i put a long ring spanner on it with it close to the chassie then cranked it over but only a very short burst. This undid it enough to then turn with a spanner. Used a screwdriver to remove the oldo one then tapped in the new one.

Hi guys Cheers for your reply managed to do it all from underneath only took an hour lol
Didn't need to remove the radiator just give it a quick click on the key and sorted Cheers peeps
