Hah! My pair of 2.2's beats your single 2.4 :P
Bought the first 2.2 cos it was my sisters' - she was selling, and I needed a car... Bought the second cos I broke the first.

2.5 Diesel in mine. Bought because it was a good price (ish) on Ebay at the time I wanted a Frontera and no 2.8s were available  No, it's actually pretty good.

First fronty was a bad 2.3D, slow but it was super cheep. Wanted somthing with bit more go and 2.8D's were to expensive, so got a 2.2 petrol at a great price.

2.8

Back in 2001, before I found FOG, I was looking for a Frontera. Research suggested a 2.8 would offer the best 0-60 with the best mpg return. It would be almost a year until I found one, and only 20 miles away in 2002.

Went for the 3.2V6, mainly because I am a boy racer at heart but still love my Fronteras. Plus am past the point of caring too much about the mpg so can drive her properly rather than like an old granny....

Got a 2.8 cos I looked on here a few times and the consensus was that they were the best. We needed a new car cos I drowned the RR in a deep ford. Our budget was £1000 and it had to be at least as big and powerful as a Range Rover Classic. Found our current Fronty on ebay. Bidded and caught the train to pick it up. Didn't know anything at all about Frontys except 2.8s were best. Never even drove one before! Don't know why I put up with Ladrover rubbish for 8 years.

Now got 2 x 2.0 ltr Sports

Truck 1 - M plate (late 94) - 113,000 miles Petrol

Truck 2 - L plate (early 94) - 132,000 Miles Petrol/LPG

Always wanted a 4x4. Before I brought the first fronty I test drove a Fourtrack (2/10), a Mitsubishi Shogun SWB (4/10) and a 3 door 1.8 mpi Disco (3/10).

Then spotted my first fronty parked a the side of the road for sale, and as they say...............

The rest is history.

Liked them so much, i modified the first truck to the point there is not reallly much more I can do or add to it so MRS MUCKER (:grumpy:) has brought me another truck for christmas for me to play with.

:4x4: I LOVE SPORTS :4x4:
