Devon 4x4 nr South Molton about 20 mile from junc 27 M5 which deals mainly with the green badge 4x4s, have a open weekend on aug 22-23 its free to attend, gives you the chance to see the latest off road products. There is an off road trail which most 4x4s can drive with a swamp run for the nutters only a tenner for an hours slot.Be a laugh to turn up with a load of fronties, imagine the look on their faces
I live just down the road from there and my mate works as a mechanic there.
I don't normally but i might consider it if i'm not going to be the only Fonty there.
While i think about it...i did mention in another thread that one of my customers is a retired director from GM.
I was interested in something he told me a few weeks back.
Apparently when he was at GM the Army tested a Land Rover Defender against a Frontera over various courses and the Frontera won every challenge
There's a good bash on at Dulverton this weekend.
Saturday is a good day for a laugh because it's when the farmers turn up with all sorts of strange custom off roaders.
Is that near the mole valley farmers? many years ago I used to live not too far away in East Worlington just off the B31something something, towards tiverton. nice pub along that road at Nomansland. Would like to make it down but it clashes with a family do. another nice one (pub) was at witheridge or thelbridge one of the two. would love to get down and see some "old" country but family has to come first
The greatest lesson in life is to know that even us idiots are right sometimes
