Has anyone been to Farley Quarry in Ironbridge? There's a 4x4 day there on march 18th and I fancied giving it a go. Haven't taken the fronty off roading yet a wondered if this would be a good place to try it for the first time

Hi Matty, I haven't been to this one but I am fairly sure that it is run by the same ppl that run the aston cantlow site, If this is true then I would think it would make an excellent introduction to off roading. Please take a few mins to read through the main sites guide to what you need to do to prepare for off roading at http://www.fronteraowners.co.uk/info/offroading_tips.htm Better to prepare than to prepare to fail

There`s also one this weekend, its a nice site, plenty of hills etc and mud and also a nice pool near the entrance(so you can wash your car down before leaving for home!!). Its also a lot bigger than Aston Cantlow so it wont be packed.Nice scenery as well.Lots of challenges.
