organising a reccie to stainby

Postby muddypluka on Thu Feb 01, 2007 11:24 pm

right i am going to try to organise a reccie to stainby near grantham to have a look around the site and take my camera then i am going to try to organise a offroad day for all who wish to come i will pay the 60 pounds to book the site for the day so the price is defenatly going to be 5 pounds per driver for the day i am looking at going in may after the anual meet it should be nice and warm then and we should get a good long days play ,

the site is fully accessable to all fronteras even with road tyres so you dont need to be hardcore to go,
it is ideal for begginers and ideal for the more advanced amoung you there are two people who have expressed a interest in coming over for a look toppo69 and haplessboylard so if there is anyone else who would like to come on a pre meet reccie to take a look and some photos please feel free to post here

pretty big but even with tyres that big you can still get stuck at stainby its one of those places even the easyist of tracks holds the most challanging of suprises there is a track that runs round the back of the lake o my god ,
i was a passanger on it and wow talk about axle twister i would say it is for the most experianceed offroader only the lean on this track must be almost a 1 in 2 and its a shere drop to the lake on the left hand side about 50 feet from the drivers side all u see is water from the passanger side all you see is the back of your eyelids and if you dare open them,
what a feeling its like o s£$t im going to die

well if all those pics are from stainby then its changed!
I went with the "all marques club" about 4 years ago and it was awfull!
We vowed never to go back to the most boring site i have ever been too!
Lookks like things might have changed though!

Cheers

the landy rolled arse over face back end left the deck and went over the front lucky he found the tree or it could have been a lot worse i think his front brakes were a lot better than he thought they were the drop over the edge of this slope is about the same as the suicide run at SB QUARRY only a little steeper
