Just so everyone knows, today i went through THAT puddle today.... with avengance.

I got grotty water on my roof, thanks to quite a bit of rain over the last few days filling that quarry up.

With the judicious use of Gunk, a pressure washer, silicone spray grease and gaffer tape there wasnt a murmer or a splutter.

Just a thought, how do other people do that puddle? I did it in 4H, 1st gear..... does anyone use 4L but with a higher gear?

You lose too much speed in third, I tried it once and had to change down, which I wasnt fussy about trying again, The engine will cope with being revved like that and if it doesnt, Ill rebuild.
