I always feel the cold, I hate it. Thats way I enjoyed the 45 degree heats out there.

We were driving around with the aircon on and by christ did that heat hit you when you got out.

very nice had a 24 hrs stop over in Dubai on way to oz lovely place building site when i was there but still great and friendly people

Did 8 hours in Dubai a couple of times en route backpacking in Thailand and Cambodia :lol:

Comfy airport floor to kip on, is the Irish bar still in the airport 8) 8) :drink:

Wow, I was there in 2000 , we asked for two pints then the Philippino bar maid told us the price and I had to run out and change more money :oops: :lol: :lol: , seem to remember the walls where full of bottle or cork openers.
Ahh good ole days, six weeks off work a plane ticket and a rucksack 8)

theres a huge irish village themed bar there now ... i came back yesterday after 14 days re painting a boeing 777 , as part of a team for emirates 8)

the beer is still expensive , but our emirates security pass got us a 20% discount in most places , so wasn't all bad .... only problem is i'm really feeling the cold now :(
