Hill n Ditch, Cheshire

Postby darkwolfe on Tue Aug 31, 2010 4:19 pm

Hi guys, been a while since i was last on here.

I was at the FOG meet in Bala but had to leave morning of the action as the father in law was taken into emergency surgery, he's OK now but it was touch n go.

Since then I've lifted the truck a couple of inches, took the side steps off, put some early leafer alloys on and a B&Q snorkel.

Anyway i was at hill n ditch in Cheshire at the weekend, great fun and the ol' fronty managed to put many of the hard core off roaders to shame. 4X4 magazine was there and you should be seeing a couple of pictures of the one true off roader in their pages in the next couple of months,

video and pictures below for your review, I've tried to do them direct on here but couldn't get the size right so used the suggested route, hope it works and they're not too big.

Hope you enjoy them, the water seemed pretty deep to me but having measured it on the tide marks it was about 33" which i guess isn't all that deep but it is a petrol so maybe its for the best.

My mate was there yesterday in his Discovery. I was supposed to go with him, but hadn't had chance to fix my knackered auto hub :(

Maybe next month.

I'd be up for that. As Ste says, it's not huge but it's ok for £30 to have fun for a few hours.
