Personally i think any lane with an iminant TRO on should not be driven.
Sorry to be a spoil sport but it can make an already difficult lanin situation worse because it portrays the image that 4x4 fans just dont care.

This lane and some others have TRO's placed on them seasonally correctly referred to as a Seasonal TRO, this is one such lane and is perfectly legal to drive up until 00.00 of the day the Seasonal TRO is due in effect up to the same time it is rescinded on the date given by the LCC Highways dept.

So no worrys its all fine 8)

Potty, I think its just a bit of a misunderstanding of the rules bud

I didnt know that. i was just making the point that if people dont want the goverment to close all the lanes we all have to be wise in our actions. :D

big red fronty wrote:perhaps we should have a section on fog saying when you can drive these lanes that have restricted tro's on them  . would help people to drive them legally :D

That information is available on [linkurl=http://www.trailwise.org.uk]Trailwise[/linkurl] which members of GLASS (http://www.glass-uk.org), TRF (http://www.trf.org.uk), and CRAG (http://www.crag-uk.org) have full access to. I don't think duplicating it here would be any help. If anything it would only add to the admin and mods responsibility's of having to keep it up to date and accurate.

:ggod post:

Its a massive job to get all that data together all over the country and make sure its all up to date.

Even Trailwise and all the other organisations can not guarantee the legitimacy of the information the members publish and have disclaimers saying users must check with the Local County Council Highways Department for the areas they wish to travel in.
