LaningLooking at taking in some of the essex lanes on the saturday put your names down if your interested, groups will be maximum of 5.
Also looking for people who would be willing to lead. Laning rules We all know that laning in general is under the spotlight and there will be people watching us. Directions of the group leader must be obeyed at all times. Speeds are to be kept to a minimum and apporpiate distances from the vehicle in front should be maintained. Any sort of speeding, reckless driving or activity deemed inopropiate by the group leader will not be tolerated. It is up to the sole discretion of the group leader if they feel that someone needs to be excluded from the excursion they will be asked to leave at the next safest available opportunity. We're not planning on stopping somewhere for lunch ie a mcdonalds so make sure you have food with you and we will probably take a 15 minute breather on one of the lanes. I recommend you familiarise yourself with the GLASS Code Of Conduct http://www.glass-uk.org/index.php/code-of-conduct The list so far.... GROUP ONE 1. Bobbinsjob leading 2. Stretch 3. Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ) Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck. Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left here Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... Re: LaningBest place to be Rob....you can slide under the branches unscathed, whoever is behind Andy will have to dodge the falling foliage, branches, evicted birds nests etc as they come tumbling down...LOL

Re: Laningand what's wrong with road tyres plenty of grip. It's not the tyres I'm worried about it the landy rusting away before the first lane or falling to bits.
