Things to do on the Sunday

Things to do on the Sunday

Postby BIGMIKE1 on Mon Apr 28, 2014 10:26 pm

Hi
I'm quite new to this and don't know much about these annual events, I'm hoping to have a spare day on Sunday so was thinking about having a drive over but was wondering what are the plans for Sunday? I assume some will be going to Bala pay and play and possibly some green laning? Is it organised groups or just individuals doing there own thing, obviously as a newbie I'd prefer to go Bala or laning with people more in the know than me! I've taken the old beast on one pay and play day so far and we lost 4x4 within minutes so now its all fixed again I'd like to have another play somewhere and I'd prefer to drive over to Bala and have a look around some other Frontys and obviously have the back up of a few others as my last P&P day I was the only Fronty there surrounded by green ovals!

Ok thanks is this something that's just organised on the day or the night before then? Although looking at the Bala site now is states you need specific off road insurance which my insurance won't cover anyway.

Cheers guys think I'll head up to the campsite Sunday morning and see if I can find a few people with either some laning or bala trips organised then and hope to tag along. I'll be the one driving round in a LWB silver B series looking lost!

You won't be on your own Mike.....I'm only there for the Days...Sat and Sun. Can't stay overnight due to commitments , but I'm only up the road in Rhyl so not too far.

Great day out laning on the Sunday, thanks to ghosthunter for leading the way and showing us around. Few new scratches but otherwise the old beast performed perfectly and we came home with 4x4 still working this time which is better than our last day out!
