I'm back too. Fed, showered and feel much, much better, allthough still a little tired.

Echoing other comments, it was an absolutely fabulous weekend. When the sun was out (which was all four days) it was warm, but it was oh so cold at night (another sleeping bag to be sourced I guess).

It's going to take me a while to sort through the 925 photos I took, I just hope ther'es some "keepers".

Was great to see so many FOG members there - in my oppinion; Best FOG Meet to date.

WOW! Cracking weekend. Awesome weather, great company and bucket loads of booze  Oh and there was some Frontera related stuff as well

Firstly my personal thank you's.

Thank you to :

Andy/Steve for organising the event itself
Rob/Audra for the catering - The two of you worked really hard with assistance from (DJ) Ria
Lawrence for the welcome packs and no doubt superb photo's that will follow later
Tony (Meezermum) + his brother in law Steve for repairing the dash in my truck - superb 'in field' work there fella's I'm very grateful. :drink: Also to Jim for the loan of his SWR meter and Steve again for making me an earth strap. And finally a huge thanks to the whole 'Meezermum' clan for taking pity on some freezing cold campers and allowing my self and the kids to take refuge in your heated caravan awning on Sunday night. The kids are also very grateful for the toasted marshmallows
Jim + Jnr (Biffo) and Fatbaz for organising the laning trips on both Sat & Sun
'DJ Ria' for supplying the music on Friday night
Andy for not molesting my kids ( too much) :butt:
Simo for an awesome start to the weekend and something that will no doubt be talked about for many months to come.

And lastly to everyone who made my daughters soooo welcome and feel part of the weekend, it was very much appreciated!

Apologies go to:

To anyone I missed saying good bye or even hello to
Anyone I offended whilst under the influence
Anyone who saw me dancing or heard me singing :|

(I'm utterly shattered so if I have missed anyone off the above two lists I will add to them tomorrow when my brain is working and I feel semi human again!)

Well, me and Holly the Big Blue (or possibly Brown) Bus are home & showered fed n watered... Which is good.
Sadly it looks like I may be a late casualty of the event, as I was getting some very unpleasant noises from the O/S/F wheel, which leads me to suspect a brake problem... Which is not so good. Off to work on my bike tonight 'til I get the wheel off tomorrow for inspection. Annoyingly, it was fine all the way down, only developed as I was leaving the M3 to go the final mile home.

Anyhow, on a more pleasant note (and at the risk of repeating myself) I have had a bloomin' excellent weekend, thoroughly enjoyed myself, and got to meet a whole lot of new faces. Some thanks would seem to be in order then
To Andy, Ste, Jay, Rich & the mods team for running FOG, and generally making the whole weekend shooting match possible
To Rob & Audra for their excellent feeding of the five thousand (the peas & mint sauce - brilliant!!)
To Lawrence, Pete, Kel, and one or two others for their very specific help in rescuing a stranded Bus
To Stuart for organising some top laning, that was a lovely Sunday drive mate,

But mostly a huge thanks to everyone present for turning up, being friendly, and making for an excellent social scene meeting new people, and catching up with the usual suspects. Roll on next year, I say :drink:
Jim.

Oh, and one more thankyou - to Ria for her very sympathetic laughs and general mickey-taking when I got stuck in the pond :P
Jim...
