I've done some fairly major tidying of this thread, if you would all take pity on a very knackered Mod and discuss/organise other meets in the relevant threads / sections I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks 8)

I am sure we could add another category that Bobby could win next year...
What about...
the car with the least mud mud on it!!!...
or the car that has aged the best compared with its owner!!! :butt:

Was thinking about next year....and what about doing voting cards to go in the goodie bags...so every member can vote for each category...

Could have the members names attending, and their car details, in a list with say 5 boxes by each name...
each box corresponding to a different category detailed at the top of each list...

Each member could then just tick one car for each category, and stick their card in the ballot box...

total up sunday afternoon and presentation sunday night like this year....

Just a thought, as I think it would be cool to involve everyone in the competition more... 8)

What do ya finks

No Rob...was just an idea that would get more involvement and participation from the rabble...

It worked fine this year, and the girls judged it well...but I just though it might be cool if everyone had a vote (so long as they dont all vote for their own truck!)...

not a bad idea, but it could only work for certain things like best modded truck, best broken and best stuck is a spare of the moment

see what you are saying andy...but maybe if votes were cast late sunday, then best stuck or best broke could be covered...

especially as some members insist on breaking or getting their trucks stuck within hours or even minutes of venturing out into the mud! :butt:

I can see where Andy is commin from. The best stuck and best broke could be voted on by the people that run and organisd the event like Andy, Ste, Greg and Trugga. The other catagories could be done by members!

Oh and this is for you Greg !!!! :butt: :butt: :butt: :butt: :butt:

Only yesterday I noticed that my drivers side, side step was best part of a inch further back than the passenger side, had a look at the mounts and they are all an elongated 'Z' shape lol. So greg, I guess it doesnt really matter that I snapped the end plastic bit off it at the woods anymore lol. Still Im glad I had the side steps fitted because it would of been my sills that would be damaged if I hadnt had them fitted. :D

Postby bobbinsjob on Fri May 20, 2011 7:17 pm

Mine still aint running, waiting on parts

the damage was.......

1) Siezed rear brakes
2) Siezed clutch
3) Seriously wet, muddy and smelly carpets
4) Sony Xplod 10 disc changer submerged in 5 inches of muddy water (dont think that will work again)
5) Crank pulley split into 2 halves
6) Alternator belt snapped as result of broken crank pulley
7) Front crank oil seal goosed, resulting in loss of oil pressure and a lovely oil spray pattern around the engine bay

Thanks very much to Jason for sorting the trophies but in the nicest possible way, I hope I dont win it next year :oh yer: :oh yer: :oh yer:
