Cheers Hipo...they dont stick out further than the mirrors, so thats cool in the Redneck modification world...(still cant believe we did 500 miles like that without a tug from the plod! )

and simo....
It certainly does look like Dan is checking in the petrol tank using a fag lighter to see!!!

If Dan wanted to loose his hair in a big woof...
he should have stuck his head through the open window of our truck when Roma was in it,
and not risk wasting precious petrol!

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...

Hi fellow fogers. Finnaly got time to add my two pennies worth.
Just wanna thank everyone involved in making last weekend the best 4 days of 2011 it was fantastic!!!!!!
It was our first time to a meet and we thoroughly enjoyed every min. I managed to survive unscathed thank god
and was glad to help out fellow fogers with the boot full of spares I brought with me (Grease, serpentine belt, bolts, exhaust paste, shat roll :butt: lol)
I Want to thank all involved in setting up the weekend, supplying and cooking food and contributing to the raffle.
A big thankyou to Stuart for organising the laning.
A big thankyou to Jim (Biffo) for leading the two day laning (despite the need for technical support :oh yer: )
Hats off to Andy/Steve for organising a great annual meet. 8)
Must thank Simon (Box) and his two great daughters for helpin out with the gates on the two lanin trips, for the toasted marshmallows (I aint laughed so much in ages I nearly fell off me chair  ) and for my new text message tone lol. (PS.. hope your clocks are still ok? if not next time your up our way, pop in and am sure Ste and myself will sort them for you  ).

I am looking into organising a green lane weekend later this year and is open to around 20 trucks or so, it will consist of camp site with amenities, off road play site, and two days green laning (moderate to tricky) in either the lakes or north Yorkshire. If your interested I will be setting up a post with further details when I have them.
Thanks again everyone

Have to admit, My brakes werent too clever on the way home. Neither was my radiator and that strange random non start issue became a bit less random. Anyway, thanks again to everyone who made it a fantastic weekend!
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!

Who said that....

Gotta say Dan, you did have some serious mud in your trucks workings!...Luckily I pressure washed the worst of our a couple of hours after dunking it on Sally's instructions...its still quite muddy underneath though, will tackle it with the pressure washer and/or air chisel 2moz! Good point raised by your post though, is worth everyone having a look at their truck.

Cool vid Huggy...gives a good insight into the offroad site there with your bonnet-cam....as well as highlighting my blunder and recovery!

   @ bobby...

As a wise someone once said (I think)....its better to have mudded and got stuck, than never have mudded at all...

There was plenty of sunny bits bobby, it was when the wind blew it was cold...but then you were up the end near Andy, so you probably had more constant wind up there than we did down our end so it didnt notice so much...

I gotta say...

although its only a week ago we were all at Avalanche for the annual, doesnt it feel like it was ages ago???

Was a blast though, got to meet loads of new people, made loadsa new mates, and cant wait till next year! 8)

Big thanks again to all those who made it happen and made it a blindin weekend...

You know who y'all are, but you deserve a huge pat on the back guys and girls (and not the "crawling under a cow" type either!)... 8)

Well done and bring on next year! :drink: :drink: :drink:
