i will be starting from here, (my house) around 10am(leaving time)

from my house,

Does the route go anywhere near the M54 by any chance ? Or If I went down the M54 and joined the M6 is there somewhere there I could tag along ?

And meet up in Stoke ?> Yeah I could do. Problem with living here is that there is no straightforward way to get anywhere :?

I think the toll may be faster and cheaper as its Bank Holiday so fuel and time cost, we will defo get stuck in Brum :wink:

its j20 m1, if you follow the m6 to the end a shoot up one one the m1, you will be there, i was thinking of shooting along the A50 and jumping on the m1

i was thinking m6, just wanted to know whether to do anti or clockwise, as going thru shrewsbury spits you out a junction or few south of the toll section, so either or :mrgreen:

Thing is Google cant see traffic and as its Bank Holiday it will be a right pain near spaghetti junction, you could easily waste an hour or more there, been there done that on to many trips to Cornwall as we had no alternative :(

Distance wise it makes little or no difference if we go M6 or A50, but personally I would spend as little time on the M6 as possible, especially on a friday
