IE9 and forums

Postby adyclemo on Tue Dec 06, 2011 11:17 pm

Has anyone noticed when browsing forums in IE9 pages do not display at the same level, for instance our home page displays huge but other pages are smaller, alter the zoom out and other pages are smaller still.

Not sure as I use FF, but on the forum top right hand corner as you look at the screen there is a couple of shaded arrows try these to alter text size on the forum. V A ^

IE9 and chrome do the same. There is a CSS bug somewhere, but as yet I have been unable to track it down. As Ste said, Firefox renders the page correctly, so it's a bit of a weird one.

Actually, I've posted about this previously.
I noticed in FF4 on my pc that the text on the index page was larger than the subsections, etc. I think one or two others agreed with me. Only slightly bigger, so I think I've just got used to itby now.

If you use the button Ste mentions to make the index page font smaller, then subsection font is shrunk too. No real issue, as I've said.

At least its not me lol. A lot of forums seem to have the same issue. I use IE as GC, FF have all done it in the past and IE didn't till v9.
