Remote alphanumeric computer control

Remote alphanumeric computer control

Postby Big Dav on Mon Oct 03, 2011 10:27 pm

Hi folks, anyone out there any knowledge of a supplier or manufacturer of the following type of device:

a keypad similar to that on a mobile phone that can be plugged via USB into a computer to enable a disabled teenager to enter information onto a computer?

Standard keyboards take ages to use but the kid can text quickly using a mobile phone. If such a device exists it would help in preparing e-mails and schoolwork.

Any info would be much appreciated.

David.

Many thanks BC, that handset displayed in the lower url looks very much like it could do the job.

Looks like I may be doing some phoning tomorrow!
