The software the parts people at vauxhall use?

The software the parts people at vauxhall use?

Postby L30N GF on Fri Sep 09, 2011 10:18 am

Hi everyone im not sure this is in the right place but didnt know where else it would go.
Im just wondering what is the software they use at vauxhall when you go in for a part and they bring it up on the screen and it has the part numbers and diagrams?

Im fed up of going vauxhall and the parts guy is clueless like he has been in the job for a week, is there anyway of getting hold of this software or something similar so i can find the part on my laptop at home and just go vauxhall with the part number and save me time and messing about with the parts people at vauxhall?

Yep, it's called EPC

You can buy it on ebay (unofficial copies mind  ), or do a torrent search and download it for free, but be aware it does not run on Windows 7. If you are using Windows Vista make sure you are running the 32bit version of Vista, not the 64bit version.

Been having a read up.
To run 32bit software on Windows 7 you must have Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions :(

TiS tells you the job details and how to carry out the work and EPC tells you the part numbers and info.
