can u use that with VirtualDub?? - I only want to remove the time stamp, then I want to edit it properly in another app.

Ive done it now. I had to work with a 21 gig file....good old windows movie maker enjoyed that lol.....jutter jutter jutter. (and I have a high end gaming PC...) I have posted the vid HERE

divx codec
configure
select home theatre profile
rate - 1 pass
enter chosen bitrate

how are you getting on with the cam?

oh you used the divx codec...I tryed useing that but it returned some error code and then when ever I opened the folder "Windows Explorer" crashed, meaning I couldnt even delete the bugger. In the end I used Command Promt to delete it lol. what a carry on. I'll have another go in a sec though.

As for getting on with it...well truth be told, I havnt got the money to buy a decent sized memory card (being on the doll and all) so I havnt used mine yet. For the above vid I used my bros one (exactly the same, ordered at the same time etc.) with his 2gig card, only got 11 mins though because the dim whit didnt clear his crap off it. Mind you, 11mins = 1.4gig....I wouldnt have gotten that much more outa of it anyways.
