Linux > Microshaft in every way except one ... and that is number of users.

Microshaft makes things fluffy for people to use, because lots of people use it, so companies develop more for Windoze than Linux ... however the tide is now changing. For some time now, the major Graphics Card manufacturers have actively supported their products in Linux, so ATI and nVidia cards should work near flawlessly these days.

If you want to give it a go, try kubuntu live CD. This will allow you to try linux from a CD, without having to make any changes to your PC. If you find you like it, you can install in alongside Windows to play with it some more.

As for me .... well, those that know me know that I am a Linux nut! :lol:
