Mobile sim cards

Mobile sim cards

Postby Drift on Fri Aug 06, 2010 9:36 pm

Can they be used after getting wet?

I kinda took a a dunk with my phone in my pocket and bust the phone, I couldnt get the sim to work in a dongle, so think its buggered, it wont work in the Mrs's phone, would the provider just send me another sim with the same number on request?
Its a sim only contract

They'd send you a new card, with a different number. You'd then have to use a PAC code to transfer your number over. They'll sort all that out for you though. :D

I dropped my mates nokia down the toilet once (whilst sober as a newt), he stuck his hand down the bog and retrieved it. I put it
on a radiator for a couple of days and it worked fine after that amazingly

you can just request a new sim card and they will post it out to you and you'll have the same phone number, you dont have to muck about with PAC codes or anything
