Having probs seeing images on the laptop

Having probs seeing images on the laptop

Postby Kevin1964 on Thu Apr 22, 2010 6:24 pm

Hi All
I don't know a great deal about pc's or laptop other than just using them as you do :) Another member putt a post on here yesterday i think which shows to images but i can't see those images except three red X's..one in each image :| I run xp home edition which only comes with one single toshiba installation disc as standard so guess all the drivers would automatically install whenever i reformat the hard drive which i do if i get real problems with the laptop..... what i can do to set this right or where to look on the computer to see if something is missing ?? A step by step guide would be great

Have you turned on any of the parental controls? Or the Content Advisor? (Both in Tools --> Internet Options --> Content).

Failing that, click on Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced and then scroll down to the multimedia section and check that 'show pictures' has a tick next to it.

You could also try right clicking on the bit where the picture should be and selecting 'show picture'.
