Server label is for the server it uses for the speed test Rich. It selects one based on Ping ;)

A big factor here is your devices..

Don't run the test from a wireless device. If you want to run a speed test do it from a PC or Laptop and connect it with a cable direct to the router. If you connect to your router through one of those main powerline network devices this will also affect the result and you will loose around 15mb+.

Retest from a direct connected PC/Laptop and you may see much better results.

I ran a test from my Pad and was getting download speeds of 0.19mb/s - 7.23mb/s which is really crap! Couldnt stream more than about 10 seconds video and waing about a minute between each 10 second block. When using a Laptop directly connected I achieve 50-75mb.

Can't fault Virgin, it very rarely goes down (at least round here(touch wood)) and every time they upgrade the network, they bump me up to the new top level.

The best Sky & BT can offer round here is a max of 20Mb
