International Members Read This!

Postby Frenchfarmer on Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:05 pm

Hi to all you/us International Members.

Iv'e been in touch with the guys running this Excellent site but the dilithium crystals cannae take adding Countries in the "Region" field of your profile.
 Put your country in the "Location" field and then we will all know where we are.
This will allow us to help each other in our respective countries.
If you can translate this into the local language where you live and post it on this thread then search engines might pick it up and we can broaden our assistance.
If you are willing to translate for members in your country say so and tell them they can PM you.

Si vous êtes Français mettez France et votre département dans le champ "Location" pour que nous puissions faire contact.
Vous pourriez aussi m'envoyer une PM si vous avez besoin des traductions.
A+ Frenchfarmer
If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.

Om du kommer från Sverige skriv "Sweden/Sverige" i fältet 'Location:' under 'User Control Panel - Edit Profile,
detta hjälper oss att hitta varandra i Sverige.

I'm willing to translate.

In Spanish - En Español:

He estado en contacto con los chicos corriendo este excelente sitio pero no se puede añadir países en el campo "Region (Región)" de tu perfil.
Ponga su país en el campo "Location (Ubicación)" y luego todos vamos a saber dónde estamos.

Esto nos permitirá ayudamos unos a otros en nuestros respectivos países. Gracias.

I have only one little issue with putting the country so that can be seen publicly...Potential discrimination...Some people from those european countries that are "loved" by all Europe may not get an advice because of collective hatred towards that country...On this forum i displayed my country and people were helpful but i may of think of a situation where people that read posts and don't respond at all because i may be from X country..
Also i wanted to register on SsangYong owners forum to ask about the Ssangyong Actyon wagon 2 litre diesel and the admin refused my registration...
I never saw people from my country around here so in this matter i am not missing much...In some situations is better to stay in the shadows to be seen neutral and get a neutral point of view..

I see what your saying Badsykes, but I do think if the admins did catch anyone behaving like this the ban hammer would only be a tap away.

Any purposeful discrimination or racism will be met with an automatic ban.
We understand that there are some jokes and fun but should it be an obvious racial or discriminative slur we will take action.
Should some one have a mild joke and is reported by the recipient of that joke we would discuss the issue and likely issue a warning.

One thing we would ask is all text is written in English.

Cheers Guys.
